Can you notice the difference between the 40's and Boxxers on any video of pros riding it? 40's look so much in control while the Boxxers are always more nervous and twitchy. I think the Fox chassis is much stiffer. His 40 seems to be set up very stiff. How to silence Avid brakes? Install Shimano rotors to them.
How to silence other brakes? They don't need silencing.
How to clean contaminated brake pads? Bake them on 200C for 20 minutes in the oven. Personally I wouldn't race if you were standing nearby :-)
